Overview of RCCG
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) started in 1952 through the vision God gave to the late founder Rev. Josiah Akindayomi.
When he passed away on to glory in 1980, the mantle of Leadership fell on the present General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye in March 1981.
The Lord made 3 wonderful promises to the church
- That he would meet the church on his return
- That the church will be a model for other churches
- That other churches will come and learn to worship God at RCCG.
